Strep throat faaaaccccccceeeeee!!
I’ve gone pretty much the whole week unable to do more than grunt at my kids and husband when they wake me up. I finally decided to put on makeup today, in some kind of desperate last ditch attempt at making myself feel better before I suck it up and consider actually seeing someone with MD after his name. =/
Sometimes all it takes is that extra oomph to convince your body to kick some viral butt, right?? Of course, I’ll probably get well in time for my husband to get sick, and goodness knows you throw two sick adults in a house together they want to strangle each other.

NC20 Select. It’s too light. I need a darker foundation next time I hit the MAC store. Or Ulta. Whatever. It’s summer, I’m not too picky right now.

Aww I hope you feel better soon!! Either way you still look fab!!
I hope you don’t take offense, but did you get extensions? I always thought your hair was a little shorter. I love the long hair on you - it looks beautfiul!!

Nope, no extensions, I just almost always have my hair up!
Thank you!

You look very pretty, though I’m so used to seeing you with a big ol’ smile!
Hope you feel better soon!

Thank you darlin’. I’m beyond the point of smiling right now and am just looking for a glimmer of hope in the “please, God…let this almost be over” vein…

You look *fantastic*, but the look in your eyes says you’re very uncomfortable! I really hope you feel better soon, strep is the WORST!

You look great for feeling so bad! If it really is strep throat, then it’s not viral and you should definitely hop on the antibiotic wagon. Hope you feel better EXTREMELY SOON! -M.D.-to-be [haha, that means I have no life]

You have a beautiful golden tone. How did you reach that?
You used MAC select tint?

arghhhh. heather, thank you. I’ll make an appointment ASAP.
Beatriz … NC20 Select…the regular foundation, not the tint…it’s a drier more matte finish, which I really like in the summer time.

Sorry you feel crummy. I had strep too many times as a kid. You look great!

Thanks y’all.
MAN I wish I didn’t have tonsils. :/ My daughter’s were removed when she was 3, she’s NEVER had strep since then. >.

Strep throat is still possible without tonsils. It’s tonsillitis you won’t have to worry about, but the strep will occur less often.
I had Strep at least every other month as a child until my tonsils were removed around age 7. In my adulthood, I’ve had it a couple times in college, but since then I haven’t.
If you don’t do this already, I highly encourage getting the kids and hubby in the habit of hand washing as soon as retuning home from work, and especially school.

PS: I do love your eye make-up. I have so much trouble applying eyeliner to my upper lid without messing up. There’s usually a little area above my lashes that I completely miss, then when I do get it, the line is just way too thick. I wish you could come teach me how to go that so perfectly!

Y’know, sometime in the next week or so, I may do a video tutorial for liner, just to see if I can make one that’s useful to anyone.
If you have a 210, or…there’s a cheap brush with long bristles you can get from Sally’s that works like a DREAM…because it’s pointed you can basically just lay it against the lash line and have a perfect line!!
Plus, it’s ridiculously cheap…like $3.99!
