MAC Brown & a pop of color tutorial…
Here’s a quick tutorial using some of my favorite products that will (hopefully) give you a look similar to this:

I used:
NC20 Select
Tarte Clean Slate Primer
Nars Orgasm
Pharaoh PP
Dipdown FL
Wondergrass
Romp
Woodwinked
Stila CC in Lillium
Bisque
Bamboo
MAJOR Major Lash Mascara
Origins Concealer

Start out bare faced, cleansed, moisturized, etc. I generally wash with Biore Ice Cleanser, use Biore Triple Action Astringent, follow that with Prescriptives Xtreme Line Preventer, and then moisturize with Clinique Moisture Surge.

Prime with your primer of preference. For this look I’m using Tarte Clean Slate Primer.

Apply foundation…mine is NC20 Select (for today…).

Blend it with a 187. I’m using the 187SE from last year’s holiday collection.

Hooray! Foundation face! It’s not (so) skurry anymore!

Now pick up a concealer that’s a shade or two darker than your regular skintone. I’m using an Origins concealer. Take the concealer and dot it into the hollows of your cheeks and on both sides of the bridge of your nose. It brings out your bone structure as long as it’s blended well. That’s key. Blend it really well.

Here’s one side blended, one side not.

Woot! It’s all blended. I used my fingers to blend, btw.

Fill in your brows. Then brush and blend them.

Apply Pharaoh PP to your lid using your ring finger. This is a GREAT green base…greens just warm up and POP when applied over this product.

Use a fluffy brush and pick up some Bisque eyeshadow and apply it to your brow bone.

Using the same fluffy brush, pick up some Bamboo eyeshadown and apply it all over your crease using windshield wiper motions, going back and forth, but don’t pack the color on, you just want a subtle wash of color.

Now pick up a really dense, flat brush, and apply Wondergrass eyeshadow all over your lid. Smooth it out nicely and kind of fade the color upward by making little circles.

Using the same brush, apply Sour Lemon to your inner corner over the Wondergrass.

With a very small smudge brush, apply Wondergrass to the outer two thirds of your lower lashline, and Sour Lemon to the rest, up to the inner corner.

With a 222 brush, use Woodwinked on the ‘banana’ of your eye, using windshield wiper motions and drawing it down and slightly over the Wondergrass.

Now pick up some Romp and put it on the outer part of your crease, again, bringing it slightly down over the green.

With a flat bristled brush and Dipdown f/l, tight line your eyes.

Now, curl your lashes and apply mascara. I used MAJOR Major Lash, by Stila.

With a new 187 brush, apply a tiny bit of Stila Convertible Color in Lillium to your cheekbones, swirling it to blend. This is a very pigmented product, so you only need a tiny bit.

Now apply Nars Orgasm over the Lillium, focusing on a highlighting effect.

Finish off with the lippie of your choice. I started this look with Rozz Revival, and finished it with Pink Grapefruit from the Neo Sci Fi collection.

Thanks so much for looking!! Let me know what you think!

Nikki, let me know who the contouring goes!
MissP, I think it’s the cheekbone/eyeshape thing for the Madonna lookalike traits!
