So I laid my hands on what appears to be an unreleased Dazzleglass...I had to share.

It's a true yellow, very warm, with silver glitter. Made me think of a daisy, to be honest. It's not highly pigmented, I'd say it's to be worn either alone to warm up the lips or over a lipstick to add a bit of a warm sparkle.

Either way, it's gorgeous.

It kind of reminds me of Voile slimshine...sheer, warm...my lips but better. With sparkle.

So, it's the middle of winter, and once again, I find myself asking myself...why is my scalp flaking so much? Why is my hair so dry? Here are my thoughts...

1. I am african american with a relaxer which has damaged my natural hair's curl by straightening it. I always forget this. Now it's more fragile, and needs more moisture.

2. It IS winter, and with the colder temperatures...my hair needs even more moisture.

3. I have not been staying true to my silk scarf, religiously (though I have been sleeping on my satin pillow case).

4. I have not been staying true to my stylist (sorry Janine!!!). The last salon treatment I had was on November 14th. How awful is that???

5. I am never true to any one product or line for any length of time. I like to jump around when new products surface or when someone tells me something new.

It's been awhile since I've come across a reasonably-priced set of shower products that are worth every penny. I was surprised when I was sent a collection of Matrix Men Hair Products. I had four interviews with mac. One of which I did a demo and was told that I did very well and so I was going to be able to interview with two of the managers in the chicago land area. I was really excited and went to both interviews. Unfortunately it seemed the managers wanted me to be able to have more availability than I had at that point in time. I said I would be more than willing to take a part time position on but the effort was all together unfruitful. I was totally bummed for several months and didn't visit the mac counter for a long time. I felt like I truly gave it my all and was rejected. I can understand that there are other girls that had better availability than me although but wish I would have at least been given a chance.

What's a good price for mascara? Do you girls buy separate ones for daily use and occasions? :)

I wear CoverGirl Exact Eyelights - Black pearl for my brown eyes (oh how I wish they were Hazel), and a Lancome sampler for occasions, because I'm going thru a broke phase, hahah~

Hey everyone!

I was surfing the net and came across all the hype about Coastal scents huge 88 palette eyeshadow set, just wondering if anyone out there has tried it, want to know if it's worth trying.

It's that time of year, the time of year that my summer glow (that I get no matter how much sunblock I put on) pretty much disappears. I hate it. I hate looking waxy and pale.

But I also hate crow's feet and wrinkles and looking 50 when I'm 32. So with that in mind, I'm fighting the urge to pop into the tanning salon once a week. Add in that I absolutely LOATHE these short days with minimal sunshine (therefore minimal time to get outside and DO something) and ugh. I pretty much am miserable this time of year.
