Barbie loves MAC restocking
There was confirmation from several artists on the forum that MAC counters and stores will be restocking the entire Barbie color collection in the coming weeks due to unexpected consumer demand. Stores will also be receiving second shipments of the MAC cosmetics Barbie fashion doll in June. You can most likely expect the second shipment of dolls to be as limited as the first. If you’re only looking for the doll barbiecollector.com is still accepting reservations for her online. There have been many “sightings” of the Barbie loves MAC collection in beauty & fashion media since it’s release. Today E! (a US based cable TV entertainment channel) had a segment on how to acheive the “perfect” Barbie look using the color collection. Still want more Barbie? Here’s Jennifer Hudson (of AI fame and now an oscar winning performer) receiving a MAC Barbie fashion doll from Mr. Demsey, the global president of MAC Cosmetics, at a luncheon in her honor. Is Ms. Hudson getting her own color collection? Hmmm, we would like to know! 
A recent MAC related tidbit on WWD.com is yet another planned collaboration between MAC Cosmetics and fashion designer Alexander McQueen.
